My New Adventure:
A Pacific Sail & Patagonia
I was not going to travel much this year but a couple of opportunities presented themselves. First, there was the special
sail the Star Flyer, sister ship to the Star Clipper, from Panama to Tahiti. Yes, I had been to Tahiti before, but that was
40 years ago – I wonder how it has changed. Second, I really wanted to return to Patagonia to hike in a Chilean national
park, Torres del Paines plus I wanted more time in Argentina (since it was on the way). Then a friend and wife just retired
with all these places on their list. Third, I met a very nice Peruvian lady, Isabel, who was willing to accept this travel
challenge. Of course, when in Patagonia, one must dip down to Cape Horn … again. So this sets the stage for my 2007
– 2008 travel adventure. Well, who knows what next year will bring so my motto to 'do It Now' applies.
